Dr Sivyer has been performing full time skin cancer treatment on the Gold Coast since 2008.

During this period Dr Sivyer became a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He also holds the academic title of Senior Lecturer, School of Medicine at The University of Queensland. He has been an examiner and lecturer of the College and has had a number of research papers published in the international journal ‘Dermatology, Practical and Conceptual’ and ‘Journal of Surgical Reconstruction (J.P.R.A.S)’.

He is committed to the best practice of skin cancer medicine and surgery for his patients, and continues to be involved in research.

Dr Sivyer now leads the Gold Coast Skin Cancer Clinic and Surgicentre at Southport.

Dr Daniela Alexander MBBS, FRACGP, SCCA accredited

Dr Daniela Alexander is a GP, vocationally trained in Australia with 3 years of General Practice training.

Dr Alexander received her Doctor’s degree in General Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine Bucharest, Romania obtained in 1989. She completed her internship in Burnie, Tasmania in 1996 and worked as a Medical Officer in the Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Princess Alexandra hospital in 1997 and 1998. Working in General Practice since June 1998, she obtained her Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Fellowship in February 2001. Since obtaining Fellowship, she has worked exclusively in General Practice in Brisbane, Canungra and for the last 7 years at Highlands Health. Dr Alexander has an interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and was the first Registrar in Queensland to do a special interest term in Skin Cancer Medicine, working 6 months in a Skin Cancer Clinic in Logan, Qld.

Dr Shweta Jacob is a Physician trained GP with a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine. Having attained her Bachelors degree in 1996, Dr Jacob successfully completed Doctorate in Internal medicine and worked as a hospital Physician in the UK until 2007.

She then moved to Family medicine in Primary Care and worked as a GP in London until 2015. During this period Dr Jacob was actively involved in training Medical Students and Foundation year doctors from Imperial College and was a GP Appraiser in Southwest London for over six years.

Since being in Australia, Dr Jacob has developed a keen interest in Skin Cancer and routinely performs skin checks, biopsies and surgical procedures in her clinic. She is currently completing the Advanced Surgical Course at the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

Dr Jacob is also an examiner for the College of GPs and Educator for GP Registrars and Medical Students from Bond University.

She continues to progress her academic and skin cancer interests and is committed to evidence based best practice in Primary Care.
